Our production leads are responsible for daily shift operations within their respective departments or work cells. As a working leader reporting to the production manager, our production leads play a key role in our ongoing efforts to improve product quality and consistency, reinforce our food safety protocols, increase productivity and provide a higher level of hands-on staff training and development.

Core responsibilities vary by department and include (but are not limited to):

  • Fulfilling work orders and/or production schedules on-time and in full as dictated by daily production schedule
  • Ensuring product mixing, production, packaging and other applicable standards are accurately followed at all times (will vary by assigned department, line and/or work cell)
  • Ensuring adherence to all applicable company SOP's and food safety standards
  • Meeting or exceeding weekly labor budget for regular hours and overtime
  • Recording production metrics or other standards within the assigned department, line or work cell
  • Tracking waste within the assigned department, line or work cell
  • Ensuring completion of quality and food safety paperwork in keeping with SQF food safety standards
  • Assisting with the on-boarding and training of all assigned new employees
  • Executing department initiatives as conveyed by Production Manager and/or Plant Manager
  • Providing ideas and feedback to improve processes to your employees and management
  • Troubleshooting errors in a timely manners
  • Overseeing the basic daily sanitation and housekeeping needs within your assigned area
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to improve product flow and reduce bottlenecks
  • Proactively communicate any issues to Production Manager and/or Plant Manager
  • Positions available in the following departments: mixing, baking, product dividing and sheeting and packaging


  • Minimum two (2) years of full-time, plant-level manufacturing experience in a wholesale food production environment (preferably commercial bakery)
  • Previous line lead or supervisory experience highly desirable
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural work environment (oral and written)
  • Ability to read/interpret work instructions, complete basic reports an accurately perform basic mathematical computations
  • Basic Windows-based computer skills
  • Knowledge of SQF food safety requirements highly desirable

VIEW JOBS 8/6/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-04T00:00 Overview The Home Care Registered Nurse (HCRN) will be coordinating quality level of service with the interdisciplinary team to the target participant/patient population within the specified borough (Manhattan or Bronx). Responsibilities * Assesses participant's physical and functional needs, along with psychosocial status and needs, home safety, family caregiver burden, etc utilizing professional knowledge, skills of observations and interviewing skills. * Completes assessment documents including UAS, problem lists and interventions and other documentation required for appropriate data collection and analysis as part of a quality assessment and performance improvement program * Develops and implements the home care components and works with other team members to develop a comprehensive Interdisciplinary team plan of care based on the needs of participant and caregivers, and goals mutually acceptable to the participant/family and significant others. * Monitors effectiveness and outcomes regularly and keeps the team informed as to participant progress and level of need. Remains alert to pertinent input from other team members, participants and family members/caregivers. Reviews and revises goals and approaches to member/ family care in coordination with interdisciplinary team members. * Provides initial home care assessments of new members enrolled in the program, and reassesses at appropriate intervals according to PACE standards and the individualized needs of each participant in coordination with the IDT. Completes NYS required assessment tools according to the schedule planned by the IDT * Communicates with primary care providers and center nurses as needed to coordinate medication, ancillary tests and functions such as home blood draws as needed Qualifications * ASN and NYS RN * UAS Certification Preferred * 1-2 years of experience in geriatric/frail population and care * Must be willing to commute within specific borough of interest Archcare Bronx NY
