Bakery Assistant/Cake Decorator

Job Description Job Description Elisa Pastry is a local dessert, Pastry shop focused on delighting our customers with artisanal, beautiful, and high-quality cake and desserts. We are looking for an experienced Bakery Assistant/cake decorator to join our team in part time or full time position, 5-6 days a week. Qualified Candidates will: have experience working in bakery/kitchen be skilled in hands-on production have STRONG communication skills and attention to detail. have a positive attitude be coachable and have a desire to learn new skills and techniques Must have good time management skills and the ability to multi-task with a calm demeanor follow directions, establish procedures, and prioritize tasks have two years of culinary education (preferred) have worked at least one year in production and custom cake decorating be skilled at piping, crumbing, icing, and working with fondant have flexibility in scheduling, You can be off on Saturdays or Sundays obtain Food Handler’s Certificate (required of all FOH staff within 30 days of hiring)
