The Opportunity

Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is hiring for a full-time or part-time Baker to join our team at Austin Bergstrom Airport in Austin, Texas and our off-site production kitchen. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing bakery products and ensuring all items are served in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipe portion sizes and quality standards

• Ensure proper baking temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly

• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties according to proper guidelines

• Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked

Qualifications

• Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail

• Ability to follow procedures and take directions

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
