Bag Machine Operator

Read and interpret production orders

Measure and inspect bags to make sure they conform to specifications

Fill out daily production reports

Load completed boxes on to pallets

Produce a quality product

Follow directions written and verbal

Load rolls of material on to the bag machine using material handling equipment

Maintain cleanliness in work area

Pack finished bags into boxes

Set up and adjust bag machine

Enter production data on work order

Work safely at all times

Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent

This position requires you to spend 90% of your time at work standing

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Previous experience running production machinery

Capability of working 10 hour shifts

Have the ability to understand and carry out instructions

Must be able read and write EnglishUse measuring devices and have basic math skills

Experience in using material handling equipment

Ability to keep work area clean and neat

Willing to work overtime including weekends
