Backing Weaving Utility

Job Summary:

The Weaving Utility is responsible for cleaning the looms and keeping a neat work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Must be able to withstand high temperature and working in close spaces.

• Must be able observe all PPE rules and regulations

• Must be motivated with a good attitude

• Ability to work unsupervised

• Ability to cut off warp beams, sweep floors, bale waste and change out trash cans.

• Stand on concrete floor for long periods of time

• Good attendance record

• Ability to keep a clean and safe work area

• Ability to operate a fork lift.

Performance Expectations:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Capable of standing on concrete floor throughout shift

• Walking, stooping and reaching over loom for long periods of time

Experience/Education Requirements:

• Ability to work around and with heavy industrial equipment

• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.

• Ability to work in accordance with quality, safety and production standards, policies and guidelines.

Other Requirements:

• Overtime may be required periodically

• Incidents must be reported immediately (personal injury/property damage)

• Perform any other duties as assigned
