Back Of House Supervisor

Job Description Job Description Gilded Acorn at The First National Center is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to join our team The primary responsibilities of the Back of House Supervisor involves leading and managing back of house kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers. As a Back of House Supervisor, you will be held responsible to provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a productive work environment.

You are responsible for the safe and proper preparation of food, and for ensuring that kitchen staff follow health and safety regulations. Gilded Acorn will provide opportunities for Back of House Supervisor training. Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities Ensure food is organized and stored properly Ensure food supply is ordered accurately Ensure a high quality of ingredients and food preparation Train and manage kitchen personnel Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations ​Qualifications: Previous experience in food service or other related fields Strong leadership qualities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and communication skills Strong attention to detail Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to read, write, and speak English Fluency in more than one language is preferred Physical Requirements:

Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week Can stand and walk or sit depending on specific needs of the day Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and multitask Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. Perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner Have occasional need to perform the following physical activities Bend/stoop/squat Reach over your shoulder Compensation: Competitive compensation with experience, healthcare benefits and 401k match.
