Job Title: BOH (Back of House) Team Member

Description: As a BOH Team Member at McAlister's, you will play a crucial role in delivering the "McAlister's Touch" to all our guests through the culinary dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, with hot items served hot and cold items served cold. You will demonstrate impeccable knowledge of McAlister's recipes and specifications, assemble orders, and maintain effective communication between the front-of-house and kitchen operations.

• No early mornings or late nights. Our earliest shifts start at 9AM and closing shifts end before 9:30PM.

• We have flexible scheduling that can fit most schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Properly read printed tickets or kitchen display monitors and distribute tickets/assignments.

• Assemble all orders for dine-in or to-go following McAlister's specifications.

• Monitor the timing of tickets to ensure fast service for our guests.

• Safely use all equipment in the appropriate manner.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized station and storage area.

• Wash dishes, utensils, and/or operate the dish machine.

• Aid all stations as needed to ensure guest speed of service - teamwork.

• Stock all necessary products on the line as needed.

• Maintain respectful two-way communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.

• Perform opening, closing, daily cleaning, and side work duties as required.

• Show a commitment to cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Minimum20 years of age (due to handling of some equipment).

• Perform duties which require bending and reaching.

• Lift and transport up to 25-pound containers, dish racks, and trash cans.

• Ability to operate respective workstations.

• Work requires standing and walking 80-90% of the time.

• Practice all safety and sanitation standards.

• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform standards.

• Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
