Back End Developer

Job Description Job Description We are in search of an experienced Back End Developer to become an integral part of our team in URBANDALE, Iowa. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic for the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities: • Create and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code. • Develop API's and manage cross-platform services. • Utilize Atlassian Jira for effective project management. • Use bug tracking methods to identify, troubleshoot, and debug issues in the backend code. • Implement AB testing procedures to understand user engagement. • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Design client-side scripting and scripting cross-platform applications. • Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance the development process. • Develop Ajax programming for creating asynchronous web applications. • Utilize CSS for web design and development.• Proven experience in Backend Development • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project management • Familiarity with Bug Tracking and issue resolution • Knowledge of Client Side Scripting to support front end developers • Experience working in a Cross-Platform environment • Ability to conduct AB Testing and interpret results • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies • Proficiency in Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications • Experience in API Development, capable of creating and managing robust APIs • Fundamental knowledge of CSS for basic styling tasks
