VIEW JOBS 8/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-15T00:00 Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Vendor Management Analyst will have a passion for ensuring our vendor partners drive value to our stakeholders. The purpose of this position is to assist with implementation and maintenance of a vendor performance management program including dashboards, KPIs, vendor scorecards and quarterly business reviews; as well as report analysis based on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management and performance of suppliers and vendors. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Utilize vendor management tools to analyze and monitor vendor performance * Monitor the vendor Service Level Agreements (SLA) to ensure compliance to agreed levels for all assigned vendors and business partners * Analyze payments to vendors ensuring compliance with contractual obligations * Assist with developing criteria and best practices for vendor selection * Assist and provide data points allowing for an adequate value driven structured approach to negotiations * Assist with improving the quality of IT contracts * Utilize and assist with the maintenance/enhancement of tools for use in vendor management, including vendor tracking, analytics and performance management tools (scorecards and dashboards) * Assist with ensuring the VMO Department maintains a repository of vendors in a contract management database or similar solution to track key dates (expirations, renewals), performance, risk and demand * Ensuring the maintenance of required vendor documentation within systems of record * Assist with the maintenance of agreements with vendors, and ensure that they are current/up to date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations * Manage vendor relationships as the key point of contact between specified vendors and the business including what information should be communicated, when and by whom, to ensure that appropriate leverage is preserved. Setup and adhere to Monthly/Quarterly business reviews with critical vendors to ensure value expectations * Provide oversight to vendor audits where required; arrange and direct departmental activities and schedules * Adhere to all company policies and procedures * Special projects and performs other job-related duties as assigned * Regular and reliable attendance required Qualifications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Computer Equipment and Software Requirements: Basic knowledge in testing and evaluating performance of IT programs / applications / software. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline from a certified university or college. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in vendor management, outsourcing or project management in an IT environment. Experience in revenue cycle process and vendors preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Membership and / or supply chain certification in the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) or similar procurement or materials management professional organization a plus. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages. Language Skills: Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills through the ability to understand, read, write and speak English at a level appropriate for executive business interactions. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to successfully write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors and the general public. Reasoning Ability: Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and correct errors. Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
