GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking highly motivated, organized, and professional applicants for a Business Office Coordinator II for the Attorney General's Office. This position works in the Administrative Office of the Attorney General's Office as the management supervisor and is responsible for managing and supervising the overall operations of the Administrative Office and Law Office and acts as liaison to the other divisions of the Attorney General's Office including the Law Enforcement Academy, DCI, Division of Victim Services, and Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission. This position also directly supervises an executive assistant in the Administrative Office.
Overall, this position is responsible for organizing and performing office operations and procedures, designing systems and maintaining them for efficiency, reviewing and approving daily needs of the Administrative Office and the Law Office, as well as evaluating and working to streamline staff operations. This position will also act as the liaison to the ETS Department to ensure updated IT equipment and processes that best serve the Office within the guidelines of the budget. This position may also perform paralegal duties for certain attorneys in the Administrative Office, if necessary. This position will also be responsible for onboarding and orientation of new hires in the Law Office andperforming other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the Attorney General's Office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed at the job level.
Develop, implement, and refine policies and procedures for the staff in order to keep the agency running efficiently.
Develop, maintain, and update information for the staff, attorneys, and outside parties, including contact information for the office and other entities.
Keep the agency informed of information and changes that directly affect the agency.
Undertake duties of a paralegal, if necessary.
Responsible for ensuring all new hires are welcomed to the office, and have the equipment necessary, and access to resources necessary to fulfill their job obligations efficiently.
Mentor, train, and coach support staff and delegate assignments to ensure maximum productivity.
All other law office-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or agency administration.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of agency organization and goals.
Knowledge of management, supervisory, and organizational techniques.
Knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures.
Knowledge of the use of legal reference material and legal research.
Knowledge of Wyoming Statutes and agency mission goals, policies, and procedures.
Skill in professional, oral, and written communication.
Skill in working with the public and agency members.
Ability to reason logically analyze situations accurately and recommend an effective course of action.
Ability to multitask efficiently, accurately, independently, and in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Ability to anticipate, plan for, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work and communicate cooperatively with all levels of government personnel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (typically, but not necessarily, in Business)
Experience:
0-3 years of progressive work experience (typically, but not necessarily, in Business ) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Business Office Coordinator I
OR
Education & ExperienceSubstitution:
4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Business Office Coordinator I

Necessary Special Requirements
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, etc.
Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
NOTES:
