Job Title: BA with Pharma Exp

Location: Peapack NJ

  • Define User Stories/Requirements (Enter in Jira/Confluence) while managing/grooming backlog and roadmap

  • Facilitate Business Workshops

  • Prioritize backlog items into relevant Sprints

  • Work with development, user experience and validation team to estimate effort for each story and indicate dependencies/related requirements

  • Collaborate with UX to Create/Refine Personas, User Stories and Scenarios

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES * Deliver high quality process standards and procedural documents for cross functional use by Pfizer safety, regulatory, medical and/or clinical. * Directly manage a team of procedural document staff including any applicable contract resources.Manage the daily activities of this staff; maintaining consistent workflow and prioritization needs, providing guidance to individual department members, reviewing work of staff members and keeping staff members up to date on company policies. * Develop people through mentorship and serving as a role model, also career development strategies. * Contribute to the development of SOP & Training departmental strategies as a member of leadership team. * Represent Process and Procedural Document group on applicable committees and governing bodies and influence numerous other colleagues/contractors, leaders, and outsource partners globally and locally. * Maintain ongoing communication with leaders in Pfizer safety, regulatory, medical and/or clinical to assess the need for new procedural documents or revisions and establish their prioritization. * Serve as a subject matter expert on managing procedural documents and SOP compliance issues, including representing Pfizer in audits/ inspections. * Develop effective collaborations with other procedural document development/implementation organizations (e.g., clinical supply chain organization, DSRD, Corporate Compliance) to ensure consistency, to minimize duplication of effort, to harmonize across divisions and to ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. * Manage special projects related to processes and procedural documents as requested by supervisor. * Overesees the management of the documentation system that houses the procedural documents.This includes working with business technology to ensure that the system meets business and customer needs and that all maintenance work is performed in a way that the system can withstand regulatory and internal audit scrutiny. * Oversee the process for the review, endorsement, tracking and communicating of monthly metrics on SOP development activities.Develop and present updates to SOP group when requested. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * A minimum of a BA or BS is required, advanced degree in relevant field preferred.Degree or professional certification in process design or change management, or equivalent experience. * A minimum 7-10 years experience in the design, documentation and implementation of pharmaceutical business processes (safety, regulatory, medical and/or clinical). * A minimum of 10 years experience in the safety, regulatory, medical and/or clinical areas in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.Knowledge and understanding of the business/compliance needs that drive SOP development, as well as a thorough understanding of the regulatory/safety environment and its regulations and standards. * Desirable: training or experience in safety, regulatory, medical and/or clinical process training development, delivery and/or implementation. * Demonstrated ability to manage multi-phase complex projects with multiple contributors/collaborators, facilitate cross functional teams, optimize subject matter involvement, and interacts at all levels in a matrix environment.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet targeted deliverables and deadlines; strong planning and multi-tasking skills. * Demonstrated leadership capability in developing strategy and managing team projects in a matrix environment. * Ability to adapt to changing situations and work well under pressure. * Technical proficiency, including skills in use of common desktop tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project); tools for process design and mapping; and systems for document management, publishing, communication, and learning management. * Understanding of the fundamentals of electronic publishing of procedural documents. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must be able to orient/train new personnel * In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical business processes (safety, regulatory, medical and/or clinical) and regulations, guidelines and industry standards for compliance. * Ability to lead by example and effectively implement strategies through influence and persuasion. Ability to influence and negotiate with senior staff essential. * At least 5 years of management/team leadership experience required.
