About the Team

The B2B audience dev team is responsible for the implementation of the overall B2B audience growth strategy including SmartBrief. Working cross-functionally with the B2B editorial teams, the audience dev team creates subscriber growth campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.

Job Purpose

As B2B Data Analytics Manager. you will report to the VP, B2B marketing and work closely with Futures Business Intelligence team. The core purpose of the role is to track, report on and tell stories with B2B print and digital subscriber data utilizing a number of disparate data sources and compiling into dashboards for a cross-section of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audience tracking
    • Day to day monitoring of all B2B titles and related subscription data
    • Ownership of B2B subs data and reporting
    • Ability to identify trends and recommend actionable business benefit
    • Expanding existing reporting capabilities
    • Act as internal expert on all audience data
  • Data analysis and reporting
    • Work with partner development team to create up to date reporting for key partners and external stakeholders
    • Track Google Analytics campaigns and report weekly on effectiveness of subscriber acquisition activities
    • Liaise with outside data vendors when needed

Requirements

  • Experience with large audience data sets
  • Understanding of common data structures
  • A track record of building, executing and reporting on complex data sets
  • Proven ability to tell creative stories using data to a non-data audience
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience in Google Analytics
  • Experience using Tableau
  • Understanding of SQL basics
