B2B Channel Marketing Specialist

What were looking for:

We are looking for an individual that is looking to help develop and grow the channel. This role will report to B2B Department Head and will have direct inputs to framing B2B marketing initiatives. The goal is to develop activities that would support our clients channel partners and meet company objectives. Builds and maintains relationships with key customers and assigned Sales Account Managers in creating and executing account level and national marketing campaign programs. This is an exciting new opportunity to be a part of the growing B2B channel at TP-Link.

What your future looks like:

  • Communicate with channel customers like Distributors, VAR, DMR, service integrators, service providers etc.
  • Work with presales engineer to study customers applications and requirements. Create TP-Link solution and show the benefits and features.
  • Create content for flyer, E-news, website, article, poster, show display etc.
  • Search and select media channel for advertisement, like industry conversion, magazine, online community etc. Manage B2B marketing budget and evaluate ROI

Manage strategy and execution of channel effectiveness and communication:

  • Drive product launches, through partner campaigns,
  • Manage development and updates of all channel sales tools and materials including program guides, sell sheets, product announcements, etc.
  • Work with sales to ensure lead follow-up

Create and manage marketing alliances:

  • Build awareness through communication of the strategic benefits of the partnerships to Sales team and to the market.
  • Ensure retention, growth and customer satisfaction of partnerships.
  • Work jointly with partner to achieve on-going initiatives, goals, and objectives.

Requirements

What youll bring to the table:

  • 4 year Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience in sales/marketing
  • Minimum 2-3 years of B2B channel related marketing experience
  • Background in Networking, Security, Telecom, Managed IT service, etc.
  • Based in Southern California, able to work in the future in Irvine office
  • Strong knowledge of channel customers or solution providers (not consumer)
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and creativity
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter, equipped to work well in a fast paced/demand environment
  • Ability to drive programs and initiatives with minimal supervision

VIEW JOBS 2/18/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-05-19T00:00 At a Glance The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for strategic targeting and marketing for our Break Fix, Merchandising, and Installations division. Overview PURPOSE: As the Channel Marketing Manager, you will be focused on developing strategic marketing and penetration plans for net new business. You will be responsible for the successful marketing execution of these plans and generating high quality leads to grow the sales of our Break Fix, Merchandising, and Installation solutions. You will be the dedicated marketer for this division but will report to and work with the Marketing department to execute marketing plans successfully. You will work closely with the leadership of this division as well as sales leads. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Plan and execute digital, channel-specific campaigns for the Break-Fix, Merchandising, and Installation solutions. This includes determining which media platforms to use, and how to adapt campaigns to fit the channel they are being executed on. * Engage with senior staff to provide marketing advice and guidance on how to market to their target audience most effectively. * Perform market research and stay ahead of the trends of this industry and the trends for delivering content, as well as monitoring our competitors in the space. * Develop channel strategies for the calendar year in partnership with the department heads, sales leads, and marketing heads to discuss budgets, ad spend, SEO, etc., and align with the overall company marketing plan for the year. * Develop sales tools as needed to support sales strategies: pitch decks, case studies, success stories, etc. * Report on campaign results by gathering data, creating reports, demonstrating what worked and what didn't, and make recommendations to update plans going forward accordingly. * Working with design to create supporting graphics and pitch decks when needed. * Other duties as assigned by management. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Minimum 5 years' experience working experience in channel marketing, corporate marketing, digital marketing, or content marketing role. * Knowledge of digital platforms is preferred, with an emphasis on, but not limited to social media tools (i.e., LinkedIn, HubSpot, Hootsuite, Airtable,). * Experience in building and reporting on marketing analytics is preferred. * Experience working in Merchandising, Break-Fix, or Installation industry is preferred. * Bachelor's Degree; Marketing, Business, or Communications is preferred. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS * Must be able to work in Microsoft Office Suite with strong skills in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. * Must possess strong, professional verbal and written communication skills including copywriting, proofreading, and editing. * Ability to work with and pitch concepts to customers and help sell in and execution. * Strong planning, resourcefulness, and organizational skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, helpful attitude. * Detail-oriented and driven to attain accuracy and thoroughness in work quality. * Must possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professional integrity. * Must be a self-starter and a team player with a high level of initiative.
