Job Summary: The B2B Billing Supervisor will oversee and manage the billing operations for our B2B clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role will involve supervising a team of billing specialists, resolving billing issues, and implementing process improvements to optimize the billing cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of billing specialists.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

  • Train new team members on billing procedures and systems.

  • Billing Operations:

  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of invoices to B2B clients.

  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and reconciliation processes.

  • Monitor and address billing discrepancies and issues.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for billing activities.

  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing processes and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on billing activities, performance metrics, and financial outcomes.

  • Assist in audits and respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors.

  • Customer Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for B2B clients regarding billing inquiries and issues.

  • Resolve client billing concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in billing, preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of billing processes, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
