You are a deep technical solutions leader of an empowered scrum-agile team. Your experience with C#, PowerApps, Power Automate, low-code / no-code development, and mobile application development from Angular front end to queues on the backend.
You will design, setup, and maintain the Azure DevOps / Github Actions environment, mentor the rest of the IT staff in cloud technologies with a focus on Azure functions, Azure devops, and cross platform mobile solutions. These tools are key to our Digital Transformation journey.

This position will be a Solution Architect and thought leader who will work with a team of peers in an Agile environment working on a Digital Transformation project that will completely overhaul the digital landscape of ACBL. As part of any new solution, we must create bidirectional communications with a legacy on-premises system.
They will lead the innovation and creation or market differentiating technologies in the inland barge industry.They will lead best practice application life cycle development from architecture/designing the system documentation,, teaching/mentoring staff, developing the system, quality testing, automation testing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and supporting. Mentoring less experienced staff. Code reviews.
Take ownership and understand the pains (and pluses) that come from their decisions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree Required
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in IT shop At least two years of Cloud based development
Demonstrable Experience in at least two server-side languages (C#, Java, Scala, Go, Python, Node-js, etc)
Significant Experience in SQL
Understanding of Cloud (Azure preferred, AWS)
Experience in DevOps (CI/CD) (Azure Devops/Github Actions preferred)
Understanding of source control (preferably git)
Significant Experience with design patterns
Unit Testing and Integration Testing experience
Ability to work well with others
Ahead of the curve on technology
Focus on Business and user experience
At least two years of mentoring junior staff
Experience in Agile team
Ability to lead a team
