Azure Engineers

The Maven Group has been asked by our client to help them find some talented resources to join a growing Azure/Cloud team located near Fort Belvoir, VA. These roles require, at a minimum, a TS/SCI clearance and all work will be ONSITE. No remote or hybrid is offered at this time.

Based on your experience, you could be a fit for either the Azure Cloud Engineer role or more of Azure System Admin/SME.

Cloud Engineer:

In the role you will define and implement secure networking solutions/scripts to support automation of cloud configuration and administration. The chosen Azure Cloud Engineer will utilize cutting-edge cloud technologies to manage IaaS/PaaS environments running Windows Server and RHEL systems. This position will engineer and operate secure Azure cloud infrastructure and services within a classified DoD environment. Some US based travel is required.

To be considered you should have...

• TS/SCI clearance or higher
• 2 years experience as Domain Administrator managing Windows Server/Active Directory
• 2 years of experience supporting operational DoD Information Systems
• 1 year experience hardening Windows systems using Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Well versed in infrastructure technology and understand SaaS, PaaS, DaaA and IaaS
• Possess a DoD 8570 IAT II certification such as a Security+ or greater.
• Some experience with automation to Infrastructure (IaC - Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience with Git

System Administrator:

In this role the chosen candidate will act as the System Admin and is a SME on Azure Cloud Platform, Azure Networking, Active Directory Services, DNS, GPO and to provide overall tier 2/3 support. Past experience using technologies such as Active Directory and related Microsoft applications, Group Policy, PowerShell & PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, and other related products to support the software development life cycle (SDLC), for an Azure focused capability is needed.

To be considered you should have...

• TS/SCI clearance
• Willing to travel up to 25% CONUS
• Bachelor's degree is Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related and 2+ years relevant experience or 5+ years relevant experience
• Possess a DoD 8570 IAT II certification such as a Security+ or greater.
• Azure Cloud Platform, Azure Networking, Active Directory Services
