AWS Systems Integration Engineer Sr

Job Description

As the AWS Systems Integrator Engineer, you will:

Integrate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Zero Trust capabilities in an AWS cloud environment

Implement appropriate controls for Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC)

Support the security team to test and authorize the system to obtain an Authority to Operate (ATO)

Design, develop, and manage AWS workspaces and virtual desktop infrastructures to support organizational needs

Implement and maintain security controls and compliance measures according to AWS best practices and organizational security policies

Develop and maintain automation and orchestration scripts to enable rapid provisioning and de-provisioning of AWS resources, focusing on scalability and efficiency

Monitor AWS environments and workspaces, performing troubleshooting and ensuring high availability and performance

Maintain proficiency with emerging AWS services and technologies, advising on the adoption of new AWS features and services that can benefit the organization

Document AWS architectures, procedures, and processes for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 8 years of experience working with AWS services, specifically with AWS workspaces and virtual desktop infrastructure

• Strong understanding of AWS security services and tools, and experience implementing AWS security controls

• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform) for infrastructure as code (IaC)

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of AWS resource management

• Familiarity with networking principles and technologies (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, VPN) in the context of AWS

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

AWS Certified Solutions Architect

• Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

• Associate certification is highly desirable

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
