Twinn Intelligence is seeking a Systems Engineer.
All positions require a Active (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Poly
The sponsor is implementing a space management system using a COTS product. Work scope may include requirements for space management and asset & facility management. As a member of a development team(s), the resource will identify, analyze and define application needs to ensure that the technical solution is consistent with business needs and the enterprise technical architecture.
The sponsor creates tools to enable data integration and writing custom code (such as Java, Python) to provide data integration, extraction, and access to systems within an enterprise environment.
The resource will be responsible for reviewing customer requirements and developing the appropriate system infrastructure requirements and design specifications, which will lead to detailed designs, programs, and testing.
The resource will be expected to identify architectural, technology, process and user risks and potential impacts. The resource will analyze and solve complex application development problems; support test activities; review other software developer work products for correctness/efficiency; consult with customers on requirements; and adhere to design concepts and development standards. The resource will work in a fast-paced environment and may have the opportunity to work on projects that deliver solutions related to asset, space, and event management. The required Oracle database support will be coordinating work with shared services and other application interfaces that require the administration and support of database, schema and application interfaces. This will also include support of development, monitoring, and maintaining of the database scripts utilizing MySQL, and Java code web services for connections in support of system interfaces with other network systems. The candidate will be expected to develop ETL/Data migration scripts and PL/SQL programs to support project requirements. The candidate will coordinate and support patching and upgrades of managed databases and maintain tables and schema for specific program needs. The candidate will be expected to configure and maintain Apache Tomcat services for applications in the DEV, TEST, and PROD environments and change/manage database passwords. The candidate will act as the team liaison to the database hosting group and troubleshoot performance issues with program databases, as well as perform administration and support for the AWS Cloud environment. The selected candidate is expected to write necessary code with straightforward logic, and ensure interoperability with other applications, utilize and structure DevOps tools and cloud support architecture.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated experience with Java and JavaScript.
Demonstrated cloud architecture experience and cloud data management services knowledge.
Demonstrated experience with SQL (Oracle SQL, MySQL) and relational database design/development and support.
Demonstrated experience using the following tools Oracle SQL developer, Eclipse, or similar products for configuration management and version control.
Demonstrated experience creating and modifying MySQL database schema scripts.
Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps development environment and tools.
Demonstrated experience with front-end and back-end development to include Java based web servers, Web services, WISDL.
Demonstrated experience with web application servers such as Apache Tomcat.
Demonstrated experience implementing application security (X.509, LDAP, SSL).
Optional Skills:
AWS cloud services and cloud data management services knowledge.
Archibus asset management product knowledge.
Web application support experience with the Customer and API Gateway configuration support.
Demonstrated experience working in a multitasking environment and planning work and supporting multiple tasks.
Experience with Oracle and supporting tools.
Demonstrated experience with Jenkins software.
Demonstrated experience with Subversion software.
Demonstrated experience with Grails.
Demonstrated experience with Web standards (CSS, XHTML, accessibility, usability).
Demonstrated experience providing development support for multiple teams, at the same time.
Demonstrated experience with ARCHIBUS COTS.
Demonstrated experience with IBM Maximo COTS.
Demonstrated experience developing web-based solutions that involve integration and data transfer with financial systems and/or financial data.
Demonstrated experience with Boot Strap and Gradle technologies.
Demonstrated experience performing LINUX administration/configuration.

The prime is currently going through recompete on the contract, and is expected to win given they are the 10 year incumbent and are still approved to hire on the contract.</p><p><br></p><p>The Field Engineer will deploy, install, and maintain a high-profile system that is deployed in over 150 locations worldwide. This is a fast-paced program that requires someone who works well in a dynamic environment. Position requires up to 20-40% OCONUS travel, including opportunities in war zone locations.</p><p>The Field Engineer represents the program and its Customer during OCONUS deployments. The Field Engineer is responsible for procedural input to the planning, preparation, and execution of all TDY missions. Duties include, but are not limited to: preparation of the hardware suite to include the initial integration of the peripherals and the loading of the baseline software; configuring and optimizing the system to the specifications of the host nation; providing on-the-job training to host nation personnel; providing feedback and recommendations to the Customer and Engineering staff about the performance of the fielded system; providing subject matter expertise to the engineering staff during the System Development Life Cycle prior to deployment of a new baseline; providing onsite analysis when problems occur outside the normal operations during deployment; providing input to the Engineering and Operations and Maintenance staff to resolve system anomalies; performing Operations and Maintenance activities when not actively involved in deployment activities. Works as a team lead in a forward area when the situation requires. Responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff. Must have the ability to complete complex assignments without direction and direct those engineers that are more junior. Ensures that systems are implemented in a very tight time frame and within budget.
