In this position, you will have the opportunity to drive growth and build onto the rapidly growing AWS practice at SHI. We are looking for Business savvy candidates with strong technical & sales acumen to assist with the expansion of our AWS Managed Service Practice.The Ideal Candidate can drive engagement at the C-level as well as with IT architects, DevOps Admins, and software developers. He/She is a self starter, skilled in developing and executing against a business plan to meet or exceed predefined targets.As an AWS Presales Sales Specialist, you will be tasked with defining the strategy for AWS' cloud products across your assigned region, coordinate a team of sales/technical resources, build key relationships with internal SHI sellers, leadership, and C-level executives. You will be responsible for showcasing AWS' advancement and innovation in order to assist customers with selecting the best solution for their business needs. You will work closely with strategic partners and internal SHI resources in order to drive conversations about how utilization of AWS will transform and benefit our customer's organizations. You will additional work together with SHI Cloud Adoption teams to remove the barriers for growth of AWS and guarantee seamless deployment of customer solutions.Responsibilities/Job FunctionInclude but not limited to: * Growing SHI's existing customer base for AWS* Establish and Develop Strategic C-Level Relationships and Go-to-market strategy to help our customers transform their enterprises through AWS technologies * Develop, test, refine, and scale sales strategies for adoption of AWS* Continuous Education of the core AWS products operations * Provide a Simplified Billing Experience for customers in a multi-cloud world * Help Customers Realize the value of the public cloud by properly leveraging the elasticity and scalability of the cloud * Assist Customers move their applications and infrastructure into AWS* Guide customers through modernization of their existing hybrid cloud infrastructure through cloud-connected solutions * Drive customers toward advancement through containerization and leveraging cloud native application architectures * Identify customers' current backup/retention strategy and help them leverage the off-site data durability, redundancy, and on demand scalability of the public cloud for tiered storage, data protection, and disaster recovery use cases * Help Customers Monitor and Manage their public cloud based infrastructure applications * Improve the cloud acumen of the SHI field/inside sales teams by partnering with regional and district managers and working closely with Technical Resources in your assigned region. * Provide Feedback to SHI delivery teams to ensure future offerings are aligned to customer needs and use cases * Assisting SHI Sellers and Customers Navigate AWS Programs for Funding * Strategically partnering with SHI's Sales Leadership and Account Executives * Generating, identifying and driving pipeline by understanding customer needs and position relevant SHI solutions and services * Develop close relationships with SHI sellers, internal resources, and SHI leadership * Work collaboratively with SHI cloud and service partners in delivering long-term value to our customers * Report, forecast, and track sales activity in respective regions to ensure high cloud based activities and opportunities progress * Responsible for managing pipeline, customer success metrics and tracking to key results * Continued education on new services, technology, and programs from AWS* Assist in training Corp Sales on AWS standard methodologies and SHI Cloud Practice * Present at customer events and travel to marketQualifications/Minimum Skills Required*
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification * Practical understanding of concepts surrounding Cloud, Devops, CI/CD, Core & Micro Services within AWS* Proven track record of getting results and exceeding expectations * Ability to excel in a high-performing and dynamic environment * Ability to build successful relationships through active listening * Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills * Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills * Strong negotiation and motivational skills * Excellent presentation skills * Working knowledge of Dynamics CRM, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint* 4 year completed Bachelor's Degree required* 2 year minimum in an Inside Sales/Outside sales position * Ability to travel as neededCertifications Required* AWS Cloud Practitioner* AWS Solutions Architect Associate (To be completed within the 1st year of employment)Specific Minimum Requirements * To qualify, a minimum of 2 years in a Sales or Technical Sales Role is required.
