Digicon Corporation is looking for highly motivated, dedicated, individuals who are inspired to join our sales team. We're looking for a driven, smart, and dedicated employee who thrives in a challenging fast-paced environment and possesses a natural bent towards innovative thinking. This person will be supporting the sales team to identify and locate new customers and generate new leads by cold calling using database of commercial leads and/or using social media such as LinkedIn, twitter; support the inside and outside sales team selling Cloud products and services throughout the Washington Metro Area and beyond.
What you will be doing.
Proactively cold call new prospective customers and locate interested parties for Digicon products and services.
Work closely with sales management to develop and maintain target lists of prospects.
Conduct daily cold calls and generate weekly reports showing progress against assigned prospecting goals.
Participate in information technology sales certification trainings as directed by management.
HS Degree; AA or Bachelors is preferred.
1+ years' experience supporting small-medium sized commercial and public-sector organizations
Experience selling information technology products and services is a plus
M ust be highly motivated and a fast learner and have ability to work with Excel spreadsheets to generate and maintain a database of prospects & leads.
Must be detail oriented.
Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work independently.
Must have excellent telephone skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively and build relationships with prospective clients.
