AWS Infrastructure Finance team provides end-to-end financial support driving AWS to be the low cost provider in Cloud computing and leader in customer experience. This includes supporting business owners in building, operating and innovating our Cloud datacenters. We support operations, business development, and engineering. You should be passionate about producing financial analysis enabling management to make breakthrough decisions, drive cash flow, and ultimately delight our customers.

AWS Infrastructure FP&A team has an opening for a Finance Manager to drive financial modelling, strategic analysis, leading our financial planning and analysis efforts. This individual will provide financial oversight, insightful analysis, and decision support in this rapidly evolving space. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and financial modelling skills who will build frameworks and driver based models to analyze our infrastructure costs better. They will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Manage and develop the financial planning and analysis processes, including monthly financial reviews, quarterly business reviews, and OP1/OP2 planning processes.

  • Drive financial modeling for Infrastructure costs and model out the impact of cost drivers to the AWS Operating Margin as part of the Quarterly Margin review process.

  • Provide fact-based insights into variances and trends.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with teams to develop frameworks for automating key FP&A processes.

  • Develop driver based cost models and create bridges between driver based and accounting based views including impact to P&L and Free Cash Flow.

  • Provide support for dive deep analytical projects and executive reviews as needed.

  • Lead financial controllership of AWS Infrastructure

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join the AWS Infrastructure Finance team providing end-to-end financial support driving AWS to be the low cost provider in cloud computing and leader in customer experience. As an SFA, you will support the Finance Leasing Program, which secures financing for the global infrastructure for AWS products and services, and a variety of other financing initiatives. As an SFA, you will work closely with senior finance management and stakeholders from AWS Finance, Legal, Tax, Accounting, and Treasury to drive thoughtful analysis, decision support, and controllership for the Finance Leasing Program. The SFA will also work with our external financing partners to execute on the AWS equipment financing strategy.
