AWS ETL Developer
Location: Meridian, CO
Start Date:
ASAP
LOA: 9 month contract (1099 or W2)
A client of Compri Consulting is in need of an AWS ETL developer to join their team of in-house developers for a 9-month contract. The client is in the process of moving their on-premises SQL Server/SSIS environment to AWS cloud. The ideal candidate will be the expert on the team, not developing the AWS/ETL/DW environment, but provide insights and guidance to the internal team during the process.
The client has chosen Snowflake as their data warehouse, so experience with Snowflake integration with AWS is key. In lieu of Snowflake experience, candidates with AWS Redshift experience will be strongly considered. A large amount of video streaming data will need to be converted to S3 files, so Kinesis Firehose experience is a must.
They are considering using Talend, AWS Glue, or a combination of both tools in conjunction with Kinesis.
Must:
1-2+ years of AWS development experience, or mixture of less experience with other Cloud architecture experience (Azure, etc.)
7+ years of ETL development experience.
Experience integrating Snowflake OR Redshift DW with AWS.
Experience delivering/extracting Kinesis Firehose data objects to/from S3 buckets.
Strong SQL Server experience - including SSIS.
Experience with one or more of the following AWS tools:
Glue; Kinesis Firehose; Cloudwatch; Batch; Lambda; Athena
Nice to Have:
Talend ETL experience.
Tealium tag management experience.

Skills:
AWS, S3, Buckets, ETL, Snowflake, DW, Data Warehouse, SQL Server, SSIS, Glue, Kinesis Firehose, CloudWatch, Batch, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, Developer, Cloud Architecture, Talend
Contract
9 months
