KPI Partners is looking for AWS DevOps Engineer - Denver, CO

Job Description:
Excellent experience Amazon Elastic Container Services.
Excellent experience in AWS compute services.
Excellent Experience in creating and Launching Amazon ECS clusters.
Excellent working Experience in Amazon ECS Container Agent
Excellent working Experience with EC2 and AWS Lambda/terraform.
Work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the production AWS environment and ensure their ongoing support once there.
Gain a deep application-level knowledge of the systems as well as contributing to their overall design.
Be a DevOps champion - work closely with other internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the development lifecycle.
Dive deep into the software stack to troubleshoot as needed.
Build engineering automation and productivity tools to streamline and scale applications in the production environment.

In this System Safety Engineering role, your responsibilities will include: * Ensure that safety is designed into hardware and software products - and that controls are incorporated and remain effective - assuring compliance to safety requirements * Ensure that residual risks are identified, accepted, and documented * Ensure that safety deliverables meet safety and contractual requirements * Prepare presentations and participate in Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Program Management Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, and various working groups * Review and approve test procedures for adherence to System Safety requirements * Provide safety oversight of assembly, integration and test operations for end-item hardware development * Participate in incident investigations Our employees who work in this level of position typically have 9 - 15 years of professional experience. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in an Engineering or scientific discipline * Knowledge/experience in Systems Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related scientific field * Ability to perform hazard analysis * Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Must be able to work occasional overtime in support of weekend and off-hour activities.
