As a member of the GTM and Sales Strategy team for AWS Commercial Sales, work directly with sales leadership on critical business projects and implementation of the sales model for WW Commercial Sales to meet our growth objectives. You will provide the analytical background to support strategic initiatives that include, developing go-to-market strategies and driving the associated business planning processes. You'll work on challenging and often ambiguous problems, and must draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to be successful.
Work cross-functionally to ensure overall sales organization readiness including territory planning, investment guidance and headcount allocation.
Assist in defining, landing and executing on strategic initiatives for the Commercial Sales Organization
Structure and package analysis, strategies, and recommendations into deliverable narratives and communications.
Collaborate with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to incubate new programs and land new initiatives with the field sales teams.
The ideal candidate thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, and has an analytic background to assist the AWS WW Commercial Sales organization in meeting its business objectives. The candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, simplifying where there's complexity, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs, make trade-offs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints.
They will influence the continuous improvement of segmentation frameworks, sales incentives and initiatives, business intelligence / reporting tools and other field activities to enable operational goals. He/she will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, outstanding analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for their customers to other internal parties. He/she will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, strong financial acumen, and be able to communicate complex strategies or analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way. The ideal candidate has sales strategy and operations experience.
This position will work with the multiple stakeholders within and supporting the extended AWS Commercial Sales organization, such as Service teams, Business Development and Specialized Sales, Sales Leadership, Operations, Marketing, Professional Services, Training & Certification and the Partner team.
