As a member of the GTM and Sales Strategy team for AWS Commercial Sales, you will support defining and executing on our key strategic programs, tooling and mechanisms for WW Commercial Sales. The role will assist with driving revenue-generating/accelerating projects, cross-sales organization growth strategies and programs, and helping to shape overall sales strategy and prioritization.
Help drive strategic change plans across the sales organization.
Improve upon the operating model to support growth strategies including organizational wide implementation of best practices.
Assist in defining, landing and executing on strategic initiatives for the Commercial Sales Organization
Collaborate with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to incubate new programs and land new initiatives with the field sales teams.
The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, has experience in program management and has an analytic background to assist the AWS WW Commercial Sales organization in meeting its business objectives. The candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, simplifying where there's complexity, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs, make trade-offs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints.
You should have experience managing complex global programs for sales engagement in large, multi-national, preferably tech organizations. The ideal candidate has broad technical skills, strong financial acumen, sales strategy and program management experience, and a deep analytical background. Strong judgement as well as a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority are key to success.
This position will work with the multiple stakeholders within and supporting the extended AWS Commercial Sales organization, such as Service teams, Business Development and Specialized Sales, Sales Leadership, Operations, Marketing, Professional Services, Training & Certification and the Partner team. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across geographies.
