Exciting new job opening for a Cloud Engineer to join our team and work on-site at our clients global HQs in Carrollton, Texas. This role will focus on cloud development and engineering work in AWS using Lambda, EC2, and S3.
AWS Cloud development
Experience with Lambda, EC2, S3
Web development with node.JS, JS, and MS-SQL
Telecom knowledge of phone systems, carriers and data networks
Experience working within a telecom organization or within a contact center
Computer Science or Engineering
Agile methodology experience; will be working with business teams and responsible for some project management
Vendor management experience
Call center concepts and applications
Additional details to the role outside of cloud development:
Analyze business needs and recommend solutions that enable customer-engagement hub strategy.
Support the department mission of serving as trusted adviser to leadership on customer interaction services, the value delivery chain and data generated and consumed by those services.
Following project management standards and working through internal and external resources, deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
Maintain current technical knowledge of the contact center landscape in order to drive the implementation of innovative applications and services that facilitate human or automated interactions with a customer.
Provide end-to-end service management oversight of customer interaction technology.
Harvest data from customer interaction applications to deliver personalized services to customers through CTI, automation and self-help.
Lead the transformation of customer interactions technology from a premise-based managed infrastructure model to an API-led cloud and SaaS model; rationalizing legacy systems and reducing overall cost envelope of legacy servers, data centers and computer rooms.
Coordinate with the Network Engineering, Systems Engineering and Global Information Security teams for new and in-service systems to optimize and integrate such systems within the global network, telephony and systems environment, following Hilton standards and high-level IT goals and objectives and resolving support issues.
Work closely with the Product & Delivery teams and SaaS providers on applications or services that provide or integrate with customer interaction services to deploy, integrate, instrument, optimize and monitor performance and support new initiatives within an end-to-end services framework.
Serve as subject matter expert for the integration of customer interaction services and the data and events that flow between these systems and other services within the ecosystem.
