AWS Cloud Architect

Role: AWS Cloud Architect Location:

Remote (Yes, with option to travel to Customer location in Cincinnati as needed) Only FTE Mandatory skills: AWS Migration Experience, DEVOPS, IaC Must Have requirements Minimum of 15 years of IT Experience , 6 Years of Experience as an Architect, 5 Years of Public Cloud Experience Strong understanding of AWS Cloud Platform Strong leadership skills working in customer facing environment Implementation, deployment of AWS IaaS, PaaS, Technologies 4 Years of Terraform knowledge Must have Terraform Enterprise to Terraform Cloud migration experience Must Have DevOps skills (Jenkins) AWS Must have Technical Requirements Creation of Architecture design documents and implementation of the infrastructure in AWS using DevOps/Terraform Strong understanding/experience of AWS landing zone and required domains (IAM/Networking/Security/Tenant model/Control Tower ) Experience with large scale migrations to cloud and familiarity with tools like AWS Migrate/DRS Must have worked as part of large wave based factory migration and as a technical lead of the team Solid understanding on AWS Virtual Machines, Imaging Best Practices, ability to provide proactive Guidance on creating/deploying/managing AWS VM's either through images or ARM templates. AWS Storage best practices, scripting, Storage Security, good to have awareness about AWS Storage API including any Storage tools.

Strong understanding of AWS Networking including Virtual Network Designing a must Strong Understanding of Security Controls of cloud (Network Security , End Point Security , IAM ) Should possess Architectural knowledge to guide customer in achieving High Availability, Disaster Recovery for workloads running in AWS Understanding of Load Balancing, Geo-Redundancy, CDN and VPN technologies preferred. Ability to automate AWS Operational related task leveraging PowerShell, AWS Automation Design around DevOps / Continuous Integration model, implement robust security measures and practice DevOps and agile principles Good understanding of Micro-Services Architecture (Kubernetes/EKS) Should have a good understanding of Cloud (AWS, Azure) cost/billing propositions. Should have a good understanding of Open source technologies used for native cloud applications Soft Skills Requirement Excellent communication interpersonal skills Excellent written skills and familiarity with Architecture tools (Visio/PPT etc) Travel to customer site required as needed (25%) AWS Solution Architect certification is required Togaf or any other Architect certification is a Plus Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
