Your Impact

We are seeking a highly analytical Associate to enhance our Controls Testing & Operational Risk team. In this role, you will spearhead efforts to fortify our first line of defense, focusing on operational excellence and minimizing risk without compromising customer experience. Your expertise in audit methodologies and business intelligence will be pivotal in identifying and addressing compliance and operational deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational assessments and controls testing to identify and rectify discrepancies, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and business policies.

• Innovate controls testing strategies, emphasizing operational risk management and long-term remediation measures.

• Conduct thorough investigations into operational incidents, identifying root causes and designing preventive solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational inconsistencies and enhance controls testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience

• Demonstrated expertise in operational compliance, with a keen focus on regulatory risk mitigation.

• Proven ability in crafting and executing test scenarios, cases, and scripts for operational risk frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in audit, particularly within financial services, showcasing a strong understanding of operational risks and controls.

• Experience in utilizing business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making and operational improvements.
