Job Summary
The Office for Student Success is currently seeking an Associate Vice President for Student Well-being to envision and implement a holistic approach to student health and wellness. The selected leader will join a student-centered team and will be the primary point person to focus on campus-wide student wellbeing.
The leader will be responsible for creating a vision to lead related-health and wellness units and initiatives for students. This role will work closely with the Vice President for Student Success, the Dean of Students, the Assistant/Associate Vice Presidents, and the College Deans to provide strategic direction and manage several health and wellness units (including Campus Recreation, Counseling Center, VIP, Disability Resource Center, TRACS Center & POWER among others). This position will report to the Vice President for Student Success and will serve as a member of the Vice President's senior leadership team. The Associate Vice President will be a key participant in developing Student Success unit strategies.
Primary responsibilities include: collaborating with key leadership and colleagues to plan; forecast, and implement initiatives and plans attendant to health and wellness; develop and manage university-wide co-curricular and extra-curricular health and wellness services and initiatives; administer and act as a liaison of university rules, procedures, and policies; supervision and budget management of several critical units; and work with a set of colleagues to integrate student services across multiple fronts.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience
At least 7 years experience managing student health-related programs and Terminal degree.
