JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

The AVP, Wealth Management Marketing Leader is the senior marketing leader for a defined client segment that oversees the strategy, idea generation, planning, and successful implementation of marketing programs to achieve stated revenue growth goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the overall team of external resources to support revenue growth in the client segment.

  • Develops in depth understanding of features and benefits of financial products offered to the segment.

  • Uses market research, client insight, and feedback from product managers, the front line salesforce and other customer contact points to create relevant positioning strategies.

  • Partners with the Consumer Marketing Director, sales leaders, and product leaders for the defined segments to understand overall business goals and set appropriate goals for incremental marketing contribution and acceptable ROI.

  • Creates marketing plans to achieve revenue goals using all appropriate marketing channels based on insight about the defined target segment and previous testing results.

  • Ensures that marketing programs adhere to brand standards and contribute to building brand equity in addition to short term sales.

  • Leads appropriate internal and external centers of excellence to build the marketing plan and oversee execution.

  • Current external agencies include: creative, media buying, digital design, direct marketing, and boutique providers.

  • Current and planned internal resources include: client analytics, market research, corporate communications, community engagement, digital channel, branded content creation, merchandising, and marketing automation.

  • Creates appropriate internal communication to make sure that key stakeholders including the front line salesforce, digital sales team, product managers, contact center, etc. are aware and understand marketing plans for the segment.

  • Uses internal and external resources to understand the impact of marketing programs on the entire buying funnel down to incremental sales, revenue, and ROI. Based on results, implements appropriate optimizations to future plans based on current levels of resources.

  • Recommends adjustments to resources and goals based on quantitative understanding of impact.

  • Builds relationships across the company to maintain and enhance high standards of internal reputation.

  • Acts as a thought leader and contributor to overall innovation at the company by creativity and actively learning about new trends.

  • Ensures that all activities are managed to comply with applicable policies, procedures, and department workflows.

  • Acts as a first line of defense to ensure that risks are identified and applicable risk controls are applied.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline is required; Master's degree strongly preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in relevant accountable marketing disciplines such as: customer marketing, segment marketing, database marketing, digital marketing, advertising, etc. including ten years of management experience

  • Regulated industry (i.e. Financial Services, Healthcare, Gaming, etc.) experience strongly preferred

  • Experience working for or with a publicly-traded company

  • Quantified results from marketing programs and campaigns created and managed

  • Excellent writing and communication skills including proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

  • Demonstrated thought leadership as evidenced by presentations, public speaking, published whitepapers, articles, etc. preferred

  • Experience with "growth hacking" techniques and demonstrated results preferred

ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines

  • Ability to operate a keyboard if required to perform the essential job functions

  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions

  • Ability to travel if required performing the essential job functions

  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 25 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.

JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY: Apply architectural concepts to design technological solutions that meet customer, operational and reporting requirements, leveraging existing technologies when possible, and ensure that new solutions are designed for optimal usefulness. Assist in the definition, creation, and distribution of enterprise business intelligence reporting. Maintain knowledge of current BI tools, methods and best practices, and recommend and implement process improvements. Support current and future information and reporting needs, distributed via electronically or paper-based, at various levels of the organization. Assist in the development and automation of efficient reporting processes and information retrieval/distribution. Actively participate in consistent development, testing, and release cycles for promotion of new information/reports to production environments. Position supports initiatives of our One Wealth team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Duties: * Translates business issues into analyses and designs appropriate systems extracts, files, and reports to address business issues. * Supports current and future Profitability Reporting, including organizational, line of business, customer, officer, and other segments, and ensure timely delivery. * Determine any trends, either positive or negative, in the loan and deposit portfolios and researches the reason and implications of such changes(s). * Implements the overall strategy for implementation of complex requests for data, including loan and deposit portfolio analytical reports. * Continuously works towards maintaining and improving business intelligence capabilities & systems resources including the OFSAA information repository, credit analytics, MCIF system, and other systems as available. * Reports template maintenance and updating for package/information delivery. * Executes automation reporting strategy. * Assists in development, roll-out, and maintenance of dashboards, for both executive and management reporting, across the enterprise. * Develops customer, product, segment, and line of business reports and business intelligence analysis. * Executes business intelligence development and release cycle, with intake and priority review, and communicates to business and end-user community. * Works with data management team to identify and document data gaps necessary for information requests and enhancements, and assists in validation once delivered. * Additional Duties: * Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by Senior Management. * Incumbent is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act. * MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; master's degree preferred * At least 1 - 3 years experience in bank reporting and profitability systems * An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered * Understanding of banking, financial services, and/or investment industry * Advanced understanding of financial reporting and analytics * Understanding of reporting tools and platforms, specifically but not limited to Power BI, Financial Reporting Studio, Oracle Business Intelligence, and Hyperion Essbase SmartView, among others * Experience in development and execution through project framework for Business Intelligence and enterprise Informational Delivery strategy * Ability to understand complex financial statistics and reports * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 25 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
