Why This Role Is Valuable
The Strategy & Operations team is responsible for facilitating strategic and business planning processes, delivering a broad portfolio of strategic projects, providing regional and global transformation management services, ensuring operational quality and compliance, and continuously improving operational performance to meet the evolving needs of partners and stakeholders. This role will work broadly across the organization enabling the effective delivery of the organization's value proposition and transformation agenda.
The AVP, Transformation Management supports the development and management of the Transformation agenda, including initiative scoping and business case development, facilitating demand management and the ongoing management of the transformation project portfolio including risk management, leadership communications and portfolio optimization. This position is based out of Revantage's headquarters in Dallas, TX
Responsibilities
How You Add Value
Strategy and Business Planning:
Facilitate strategic planning processes with departments by analyzing customer feedback and aligning with strategic imperatives
Collaborate with functional leaders to develop and optimize business plans and operational strategies that align to company vision, goals and success measures
Enable the execution of business plans by ensuring communication to departments and establishing appropriate tracking and reporting mechanisms
Partner with Strategic Initiatives to assess department needs and adjust project portfolio accordingly
Portfolio and Project Management:
Support the portfolio management life cycle from demand management, prioritization, project execution to results management and reporting
Enhance project approach, methodology and tools, templates and procedures for portfolio and project management
Drive effective project management discipline and support strategic project initiatives from ideation and business case development through execution
Identify trends, risks and opportunities that could hinder or accelerate the impact or execution of initiatives and recommends solutions to improve performance that could benefit the project, program, or our overall strategic portfolio
Transformation Management and Continuous Improvement
Capture and disseminate knowledge and lessons learned from transformation efforts to inform future initiatives, building organizational capability and maturity
Conduct benchmarking and market research to identify leading practices and trends in transformation management, applying insights to enhance the organization's approach and methodologies
Develop a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, promoting innovation, best practices adoption, and knowledge sharing to sustain transformational change over time
Establish governance structures and mechanisms to provide oversight and accountability for transformation initiatives, ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and established requirements
Change Management
Implement change management processes and tools to help facilitate business transformations and process improvements
Identify opportunities to create internal and external collaboration and synergies
Qualifications
What You Bring To The Role
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, finance, or technology
Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrated success and experience in Management/Strategy Consulting, Corporate Strategy or Business Transformation, Corporate Finance or Investment Banking
Ability to think creatively and outside the box to simplify complex metrics and information into easy-to-understand concepts and senior executive messaging
Action-oriented, creative, strategic thinking that identifies and connects opportunities, sees gaps, and finds points of connectivity across the enterprise
Courage in challenging thinking and pushing the collective toward better outcomes to improve the health of the business
Expert analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Expert verbal and written communication skills developing presentations for a wide variety of audiences
Demonstrated history of collaboration, inter-personal, and influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organization, including C-suite
Adept at enhancing team engagement and value proposition and building an inclusive, equitable, collaborative and fun work environment
Bias for action, ability to deal with ambiguity, and natural perseverance to overcome obstacles and deliver outcomes when leading change
Strong team player with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, while thriving in a fast-paced work environment
Outstanding record of professional and academic achievement
Expert level proficiency in Microsoft office, and related business intelligence tools
Preferred:
PMO experience and/or Shared Services Organization Management experience
Proficiency with Collaboration Tools (e.g., SmartSheet, Slack, Teams, etc.)
