Job Overview:

LPL's Account Lifecycle Management group is seeking a passionate and driven Technical Product Manager to own and evolve the key technical components of our platform including Account Data, Domain API framework, and Business Process Automation. The ideal candidate is one who has a background in developing and caring for business-driven data use cases, business event definition and support via event based services, and implementation of complex orchestration patterns to support long running business process. Leveraging this experience, they'll be responsible for driving the implementation of a robust Account Data ecosystem to support existing and emerging capabilities across the entire lifecycle of account data, as well as evolving our offering of external APIs to support account lifecycle events.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the use cases which drive account data requirements through close relationships with internal and external consumers, including other product lines within the Account Lifecycle Management domain.

  • Define the roadmap of epics and features to achieve Objectives and Key Results defined to measure how successful we are supporting the target state for Account Data quality, availability, and business non-functional requirements.

  • Work with aligned product owners and business stakeholders to ensure that we have a well-defined backlog of features and user stories for each Product Increment

  • Oversee release readiness by ensuring that relevant stakeholders such as downstream applications, operations, and support are prepared to support enhancements as they are released.

  • Support complex, multi-domain initiatives which are dependent on account data, ensuring data and API solutions are rationalized against the business requirements for the domain and are supportive of the target state operating model

Requirements:

  • 5 plus years professional experience as a product manager, product owner or equivalent role as part of an agile team developing software for end-user systems

Core Competencies:

  • A strong sense of empathy for the end to end user journey's supported by Account Lifecycle Management and a passion for delivering outcomes that continuously improve that experience

  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral - with the ability to present materials to senior leadership, technical audiences and operational audiences

  • Storytelling ability to take complex technical information and summarize with visual and data driven metrics.

  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities within the context of a larger organization and its objectives

  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous efforts spanning multiple projects and stakeholders

  • Preferred experience includes:

Preferences:

  • Background in a client-facing role and/or the financial services industry

  • Experience working with or managing new account workflows

  • Agile and/or SAFe trainings and certifications

  • Knowledge of UI/UX fundamental principles

  • Deep JIRA experience

Pay Range:

$103,120-$154,680/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
