This role will be responsible for the product strategy and roadmap of Synchrony-branded Mobile Apps. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management and Agile background working with cross functional teams; specifically IT, Marketing, the Platforms and Operations and experience with mobile Apps. This individual will partner with GPShopper and have direct responsibility for completing business requirements, user testing and writing Agile stories and managing sprints.
Product Owner for several Synchrony-branded Mobile Apps (Car Care, HOME, CareCredit and mySynchrony)
Partner with multiple internal and external sources to gather market intelligence and user VOC, and translate the results into detailed product requirements.
Monitor cardholder and client feedback (e.g. App store reviews) and resolve any issues identified
Oversight and leadership of the wing-to-wing product development cycle including build, test, launch and adoption.
Partner with the other Digital platforms leaders to drive a consistent omni-channel user experience.
Partner with GPShopper and IT to drive mobile App priorities and manage Agile Sprint activities
Present new mobile App functionality to Synchrony stakeholders. Create communication materials to support conversations.
Build deep understanding of customer and Synchrony network/platform needs and provide input to deliver future product features
Partner with key stakeholders such as Credit, IT, Operations, Client Teams and Compliance to identify and prioritize future features to deliver to market.
Work with internal and external partners to create screen prototypes / wireframes, gather feedback and adjust to optimize performance.
Partner with Digital Analytics team to closely monitor, analyze and optimize usage patterns.
Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for various releases.
Support and aid in any Legal/Compliance items related to the product.

Track record of creative problem solving and ability to thrive in a cross-functional and virtual environment
High energy, self-motivated, with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
3+ years of experience leading software development projects
Experience with Agile software development framework, acting in the Product Owner role
Experience in the banking / credit card industry
Supplier management experience
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
Effective 1-1-18, new hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. The salary range for this position is 70,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
