Citi technology are seeking a highly motivated IT professional to be part of our Issuer Production Services team support group, based in Tampa.
The Issuer team is responsible for the production and continuity-of-business (COB) environments for a wide range of applications ranging from payment issuance portals and liability management to global debt management, providing application support to our Issuance businesses partners and clients.
Role / Position Overview:
This position is available in both Tampa and Mississauga
We are searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join the North America branch of the global Production support functions for Issuer businesses. We work in partnership with our internal Citi business support and development partners, running the application production platform, providing quick resolutions to their issues, drive stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed.
The role will entail incident and problem investigation, triage, escalation and resolution (BAU), in addition to working closely with our regional support partners and development/business teams, developing application knowledge, driving and tracking projects around stability and service improvement.
You will be working closely with your peers in EMEA (Belfast), NAM (Mississauga) and APAC (Singapore) in a follow-the-sun global model.
Ability to investigate and resolve incidents (standard and major), problems and change release activities at a global enterprise level. Calm and analytical when faced with major incidents on critical systems.
Champion stability initiatives to enable application high availability for Business-As-Usual which includes better monitoring, failover and resiliency.
Performs controlled resolution of incidents and problems including prioritization and escalation to relevant groups and senior management resources when appropriate, root cause analysis of all problems with follow-through to resolution.
Communicate effectively with operations and technology partners on a regional or global basis.
Working closely as a trusted partner for our technical groups and business teams.
3 years' experience in Production Support
Track record of demonstrating an ability to learn new skills and technologies, as well as adopting and enhancing existing processes and procedures.
Experience with application support would be an added advantage, but not essential
Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in application support with industry knowledge of ITIL service management principles.
Experience supporting Java applications
Good interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate.
UNIX (AIX / Linux) environment.
WINTEL (Windows) environment.
Databases - Oracle, Microsoft SQL.
Knowledge on Geneos ITRS monitoring would be an added advantage.
Experience with Autosys would be an added advantage
