Job Overview

The Corporate FP&A team plays an instrumental role in the analysis and reporting of LPL's consolidated financial performance. Reporting to the VP, Corporate FP&A, the team provides critical analytical support to executive leaders through financial analysis and visually compelling reporting of the company's consolidated financial results. This role will also coordinate across both business line FP&A and cross functional teams to understand drivers of our financial performance and will have direct interaction with the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Manage consolidated financial reporting deliverables and communicate financial results to senior leadership

• Coordinate with key stakeholders to complete monthly variance commentary compared to budget/forecast at the consolidated and business unit level

• Support decision making by providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to senior leadership

• Develop standardized dashboards and reports to assess financial performance

• Recognize system inefficiencies and implement effective solutions

• Deliver on ad hoc analysis, modeling, and additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or Economics (or a related discipline)

Core Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability to manage and prioritize across multiple projects

• Detail-oriented with insight to determine applicability of big picture analysis and strategic thinking is critical

• Strong work ethic with commitment to excellence and integrity

• Ability to take complex financial results and create concise financial reporting within PowerPoint presentations

• Effective communication, presentation, and writing skills and the ability to interact with various levels of management, including C-suite team

• Self-motivated and a solid team player ability to work effectively with other parts of Finance and develop a strong consultative relationship throughout the department

Preferences:

• Experience in FP&A, Investor Relations or financial services firm

• Prior consolidated P&L analysis experience

• MBA, CPA, or CFA

Pay Range:

$103,320-$154,980/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
