We are looking for an experienced and motivated Claims Datawarehouse Manager to join our team. Our claims data warehouse platform is a legacy application within the business, feeding into multiple systems and applications both up and downstream with data that directly supports business decisions being made each and every day. As the Claims Datawarehouse Manager, you will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including management of all associated resources and processes. Your primary role will be to ensure that the claims data warehouse is operating at peak efficiency, delivering high-quality data that enables effective decision making. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver, who is as much into the day-to-day as the big picture.
With us, you'll leverage your knowledge of SQL and database tables to analyze data, identify gaps or discrepancies, and partner with applications teams, IT teams across the business, our stakeholders, and our Data Architect to drive solutions that directly impacts how data is used throughout the business. You'll have opportunities to build upon your technical skills and insurance knowledge as we continue the evolution of our data warehouse and related infrastructure. Through it all, we'll also look to you to share your ideas and manage data related projects end to end that influence how we incorporate, validate, and distribute data enterprise-wide.
In this role, you will:
Manage all day-to-day operations for the Claims Data Warehouse. Support financial reporting systems/processes, regulatory reporting, and ad hoc reporting requests.
Manage an offshore ad hoc/incident team that supports daily loads and one-off requests.
Oversee all aspects of release work including sprint planning, prioritization, story pointing, resource planning, and final deployment signoff.
Lead communication with Executive Leadership and business stakeholders regarding project status and changes to priority across a variety of business units and projects.
Identify areas of improvement and oversee development efforts to reduce manual tasks, implement automation, and eliminate redundant processing.
Facilitate multiple concurrent cross-team initiatives across IT and Business.
