In the absence of the Branch Manager, the ABM is responsible for managing day-to-day activities of the branch. Support the Branch Manager in sales efforts, audit and security, training and staff development, effective and efficient operations, and budgetary issues.

In absence of the Branch Manager, the ABM is responsible for managing all functions and personnel within the branch. Participates in all performance reviews. Provides quality customer service and cross-sells products and services to meet the needs of the customers while focusing on branch goals.

Job responsibilities include business development, making customer calls and bringing in new business to the branch. Responsible for personal daily sales activities, training new Service Representatives and providing guidance and direction to other staff members. Responsible for daily operational activities.

Familiar with all products and services to be able to assess customer needs and recommend solutions that benefits the bank customers. Participates in community activities and business organizations to develop prospective contacts. Provide excellent customer service.

Obtain all necessary new account documents and adhere to KYC (Know Your Customer) guidelines. Make daily overdraft decisions. Assists SA/UB with Branch proofing, balancing of ATM and the general ledger as well as all other required operational duties and audits.

Perform daily banking transactions using the TCR such as, but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, maintaining and reloading ATMs, and requests for account information as needed.

Assist in opening and closing bank. Must be willing to work alternating shifts and Saturdays.

Perform SA/UB functions during staff shortages. Utilize available technology/software applications. Must be willing to work flexible shifts including Saturdays and be willing to cover other branches when needed.

All employees are responsible for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and in some roles, OFAC regulations. Depending on your job responsibilities, more or less aspects of the regulations may apply, but at a minimum, all employees are responsible for reporting suspicious activity they identify in the course of performing their job duties. This includes activities conducted by customers, fellow employees, board members, and vendors.

Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer service skills/prior sales experience. Strong communications skills to include problem solving, task completion and customer focus.

Interpersonal skills a must, with the ability to deal with difficult situations and customers. Must be able to pay strong attention to detail. Leadership and relationship skills.

Analytical and problem-solving skills. Mentoring skills. Strong sense of integrity and personal ethics.

Experience 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer, business banking or retail services. Minimum 3 -4 years of retail Banking experience. Strong supervisory experience preferred.

Basic PC, MS Word, and Excel. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
