Directs the accounting operations function to support transactional accounting and reconciliations using onshore and offshore resources.
Directs accounting operations team in completion of routine transactional accounting processes including: cash account reconciliations, suspense account reconciliations, fixed assets, payroll and intercompany.
Supports a continuous improvement culture with a strong skill and focus on internal controls and timeliness of execution of work to support accounting close and customer transactions.
Directs team in advanced problem solving and use of technology to support an efficient and strong internal control environment.
Oversees multiple projects; initiates and coordinates process improvements
Oversees the functionality and control procedures around financial accounting processes, systems and applications
Manages managers and associates within the function including talent management, coaching, objective setting, feedback, appraisals and development planning
Manage resources onshore and offshore.
May develop and monitor department budget

Knowledge & Experience
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
CPA, CFA, MBA or similar designation preferred
10-12+ years related experience required
Managerial experience required
Analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate with the highest levels of the organization; ability to effectively and clearly communicate and influence
