We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in El Segundo.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Interface with multiple departments to solve test related issues.
Perform calibration and maintenance on avionics test systems.
Manage test system assets by returning defective components, ordering new equipment, and interfacing with vendors to troubleshoot issues.
Prepare test documentation including procedures, statements of work, change orders, and others.
Troubleshoot hardware/software failures on test equipment.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and day are Monday through Friday, within one hour plus/minus of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This position may at times require long hours and weekends or holiday work reflecting workload and deadlines.
Travel
This position requires up to 10% domestic travel. Travel may be required when onsite validation or the support of the avionics test systems is necessary.

Vision requirements include Close vision; Color vision; and Peripheral vision (required to see wire colors when troubleshooting defective test equipment).

Salary Range:
$49,830.00-$66,550.000
