Job Description

This service and repair company is seeking an Avionics Technician for a full-time, long-term position. You will work Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, repairs, and testing on equipment
Locate and diagnose failures and perform basic troubleshooting
Use standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manual, and verbal and/or written instructions
Work on electrical, electronic and/or mechanical systems
Maintain appropriate maintenance, inventory, and repair logs
Use a variety of hand, power, test tools, and equipment

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma
Must have specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate Degree
Must have one year electronic/mechanical technician experience
Must have the ability to read and understand detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, etc.
Must have strong problem-solving and analysis skills
Must have the ability to perform all technical tasks correctly, completely, and on time
Must possess excellent attention to details

We currently operate large to super-midsize corporate jet aircraft. Our department is made up of highly professional individuals who provide safe and timely air transportation to company employees. About the Job: Aviation Maintenance Technician to provide regular flight support for corporate jet aircraft including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Essential Job Functions: * Maintain department's corporate jet aircraft to manufacturer and FAA standards. * Complete preflight & postflight inspections and cleaning of department aircraft to assure they are flight ready at all times. * Perform aircraft fueling operations to flight crew requirements. * Must be proficient with troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems to return aircraft to service in an economical, cost effective manner. * Must be willing to work various shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. * Must be willing to travel for the purpose of training or if the need arises, to support the aircraft while away from home base. * Assist with hangar cleaning duties to provide a clean and welcoming environment for our clients and passengers * Perform scheduled maintenance on shop, fuel farm and ground support equipment Marginal functions: * Parts ordering, inventory and stocking to insure accurate inventory of parts and consumables on hand. * Misc office duties to assist with accurate documentation and records of worked performed. * Assist passengers with baggage Required Qualifications: FAA issued A&P certificate 3 to 5 years (minimum) working as an A&P. Previous experience working on turbine powered aircraft.
