We are seeking an Avionics Technician Level II to support operations in our Aircraft Customization department at Bell's Piney Flats, TN campus.
Avionics repair and system installation.
Installing avionics kits.
Fabrication of custom sheet metal items.
Installing wires and building wiring harnesses.
Other duties as assigned.
Familiarity with wiring schematics and electrical principles.
Ability to fabricate wiring harnesses a plus.
Ability to read and understand installation instructions, maintenance, manuals and blueprints.
Sheet metal knowledge helpful.
Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
Ability to purchase own tools required for the jobs assigned.
Must work as a team member to ensure quality and timely completion of aircraft to meet schedule.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Education & Other Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Approximately 1-3 years of experience in Avionics.
Additional training (to include degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology or similar) may be a plus
Ability to sit, stand, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces as required.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to duration of shift
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
