Aviation Maintenance Manager
Job Description: This role exists to provide leadership and guidance to Dynamic Aviation's California MedFly (CMF) base personnel, create and sustain successful relationships internally and externally, and provide safe and superior aviation services to customers.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage & perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft assuring aircraft is available for customer flight missions on an ongoing basis
Oversee parts inventory to include ordering parts needed for upcoming maintenance and performing regular 30-day inventory checks
Sustain good working relationships with the customer
Provide leadership and daily problem solving to direct reports
Create the weekly schedule and ensure personnel availability
Ensure dispatch reliability for all departing flights
Communicate critical information to company headquarters, establish relationship with FBO and other service providers
Act as company/customer relationship representative with tasks as requested by the customer
Responsible for emailing aircraft status, maintenance paperwork, and activities via email/fax form to applicable distribution list provided by management
Maintain interior/exterior appearance of the aircraft to meet Dynamic standards
Responsible to the appropriate Maintenance Operations Manager (MOM) for all maintenance activities at base
Manage personnel performing maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, and alterations at base
Ensure personnel are following policies and procedures, and performing duties consistent with the GMM & train new mechanics on day to day operations
Adhere to all hazmat requirements per base guidelines to include training all new hire mechanics on hazmat guidelines and scheduling regular waste oil pick-up
Ensure base needs are communicated to the appropriate MOM, including: hiring needs, tooling, training, materials pertinent to operations, etc.
Communicate quality needs with the Director of Quality (DOQ) and appropriate MOM to ensure quality of maintenance is kept at an acceptable level
Maintain familiarity with operating manuals, aircraft maintenance manuals, company policies, and procedures, and communicate changes to assigned personnel
Ensure equipment and facilities
Assist the CMF Base Manager as needed

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
FAA A&P certificate is required
5 years of aircraft maintenance experience is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage personnel and build quality relationships
Willing and able to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
Good teamwork, strong initiative, communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
Computer skills including email and submission of detailed maintenance and flight information
Strong communication and customer service skills
Highly resourceful
Prior aviation maintenance management experience preferred
King Air and/or turbine engine maintenance experience preferred
Experience with TPA operations preferred
