Aviation Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Firmware Engineer with extensive experience in the development and maintenance of firmware for aviation systems, specifically for the UH-60 Integrated Vehicle Health Management System (IVHMS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in On-Board Systems (OBS), diagnostic interfaces, accelerometer interfaces, and T700 engine systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain firmware for the UH-60 IVHMS, ensuring system reliability and performance.

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot On-Board Systems (OBS) for various aviation applications.

• Create and optimize diagnostic interfaces to enhance system diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Work with accelerometer interfaces to measure and analyze aircraft vibrations and structural health.

• Integrate and support firmware for T700 engine systems, focusing on monitoring and control.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in firmware development for aviation systems, specifically UH-60 IVHMS.

• Strong knowledge of On-Board Systems (OBS) and their applications in aviation.

• Proficiency in creating and optimizing diagnostic interfaces for aviation systems.

• Experience working with accelerometer interfaces for structural health monitoring.

• Familiarity with T700 engine systems and related firmware integration.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with other military or commercial aviation systems.

• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in the aviation industry.
