  • Four-year degree in Civil Engineering

  • 10 years of experience on aviation-centric projects

  • Experience as a designer for aviation projects, airfield civil engineering experience preferred

  • Experience working with CAD and CAE tools and work products in the preparation of aviation projects

  • Experience with the development of reports, plans and specifications using FAA, UFC, or ICAO criteria

The ideal candidate should possess and demonstrate some of the following skills and knowledge:

  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification in the United States (or ability to gain reciprocity)

  • Familiarity with FAA standards, specifications, orders, etc.

  • Airfield construction experience

  • Design for design builder or design-build experience

VIEW JOBS 10/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-10T00:00 No Relocation Assistance Offered # 74727 - Morristown, Tennessee, United States Job Summary The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of capital projects, taking a leadership role in technology transfer initiatives, and continuous improvement initiatives for the performance, process capability, and reliability of plant processing and utilities systems. Principal Duties and Responsibilities * Lead continuous improvement efforts in regards to processes that drive business performance in key performance indicators for the facility (e.g. asset utilization, operational efficiency) while meeting quality, GMP, FDA and safety performance expectations. * Accountable for maintaining effective KPI's (Batch Cycle Time, UPDT related to C&S), supporting FP&R standards, Production Planning (EMOs & PVs coordinated with planning), and leading conversion improvements in the areas of reliability, waste/AML, product quality, safety, and cost per ton. * Actively lead new formulations and EMOs, packaging launches, etc. within the Colgate Oral Care category. * Lead PQ validations for new equipment installation or new process implementation. * Actively lead the site Cleaning & Sanitization Program (standard and improvement opportunities). * Responsible for ensuring production conforms to micro release specifications; use of validated and documented change over, cleaning and sanitization procedures. Also involved in executing and following up on Micro Vulnerability Assessment activities. * Responsible for ensuring appropriate technology transfer has occurred for transfer of new formulas, processes, packages and equipment; acceptance criteria has been defined and met for all technology transfers, and production capability has been proven * Actively interfaces with vendors, suppliers, Colgate Marketing, Sales, Engineering and R&D work teams to drive and enhance equipment performance and/or quality of operating supplies/services. * Responsible for making decision, regarding out-of-specification raw materials, packaging material, WIP and finished products. * Responsible for ensuring personnel are trained and fully understand cleaning, sanitization and batch-on-batch procedures; SOPs are defined for equipment operation, set-up and change overs; cleaning and sanitization logs are maintained; provide data to support preventative maintenance programs, and ensure schedules are being followed. * Responsible to ensure changes to process, formula, packaging, specifications, equipment, on-line procedures, etc. are documented; production personnel are trained and fully understand deviation and out-of specification SOPs. Determine and document causes of non-conformances. Review site KPIs monthly to drive improvement. Establish site KPI goals yearly, and develop improvement plans to achieve. Monitor results of corrective/preventive action implementation plans at least monthly. * Follow EOHS and Quality Standards storage and use of materials for EMOs and process validations. * Define and implement a process capability improvement plan. Identify all critical process parameters and finished product variables. Establish yearly site process capability goals and review results on a monthly basis. Utilize process capability measures as criteria for success for technology transfers. * Responsible for ensuring specifications for process control variables have been set including tolerances; calibration program has been established, all equipment requiring calibration have been identified, and calibration schedules adhered; manufacturing SOPs are readily available and reflect current practice; action is taken on out-of control points and documented; operations personnel are trained, fully understand and adhere to change over procedures. * Support EOHS initiatives which will drive the TRR and LWD rates. * Support the Quality initiatives that will support effective implementation of new product start up on time completions of SOP review with teams and Quality audit preparation initiatives. * Active involvement in initiatives and projects to assist the plant in achieving Fund-the-Growth Savings. * Empowers team members by way of training, information sharing, coaching & feedback, and delegation, to ensure the development of people, teams, and organizational capabilities. * Develop cross-functional partnership to improve the plant's safety, quality, productivity and reliability.
