Overview:
AV Transformation Programme has two important components -AV transition and AV remediation.
AV transition is to move AV ownership from Real Estate for more than 100 Sites globally. AV Remediation scope includes remediation of AV infrastructure in 12 major Sites Globally in 2018, 10 sites in 2019 and more sites in 2020. Remediation will continue till 2020.Project Manager for Americas region will be responsible for AV transition and Remediation for Americas.
Will work under the Global Programme and own the project plan and work with Americas regional PM on transition and remediation activities for Americas.

Description:
Approx. 25 sites in Americas scope for transition. Work closely with the Global AV Transition PM and Americas regional PM on these transition activities.
Remediating AV equipments 2 large sites in America is also in the scope
Drive the identification of the new contract owners.
Forming the local working groups at each site with representative from all stakeholder (SRE, IT, Finance etc.) and define the roles and responsibilities to complete the transitions successfully.
Drive the operation improvement plans identified and agreed by the Global Programme in the transitioned sites
Develop and maintain a project plan, ensuring alignment with the relevant goals, objectives.
Follow the agile methodology and incorporate agile ways of working.
Gather and document site level AV issues and challenges. Report out issues/ challenges to the AVDO/ ET SOM.
Interface between AVDO and SRE/ IT.
Liaise with SRE/ IT to ensure that there are support materials in each room which has AV.
The Project Manager will drive improvements to the AV Service by ensuring there are guidelines in each AV room and creating an inventory of assets.
Be an ambassador of AV and promote/ help embed good ways of working (i.e. championing support instructions in every room with AV).
Use excel (or Access Database) to build an inventory which contains AV at all SRE sites.
Gather and document site level AV issues and challenges. Report out issues/ challenges to the AVDO/ ET SOM.
Interface between AVDO and SRE/ IT.
Liaise with SRE/ IT to ensure that there are support materials in each room which has AV.
Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders and communicate out progress
Project Manager will also need to do the remediation Projects for Europe together with the AV Global PM for remediation.
Manage activities, deliverables and relationships with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Lead the remediation Projects for the selected sites Americas region.
Work closely with AVDO and Collaboration Portfolio teams to ensure that remediation for sites are carried out as per the global AVDO standards.
Working with AV vendors for obtaining the quotes for remediation.
Develop materials/ clear messaging/ presentations to help stakeholders understand what they is required/ how can help set up for success.

The Installation Technician IV will be expected to lead and direct installation crews (internal or subcontracted) on large/complex projects and engage in specific system testing by coordinating and reporting progress to Project Manager ensuring projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Perform installation tasks as noted in job summary based on project scope and directives * Demonstrate job site leadership, provide mentorship to all site Technicians on site and verify quality of work * Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints * Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other installation system related tasks * Test point to point cabling and functionality of systems * Test code for control and DSP systems – field load as necessary * Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer * Track, manage and secure all associated equipment and tools on jobsite * Work with office staff to initiate return material authorizations as needed * Provide site supervision of install team with direction from the Project Manager * Communicate daily job site status to the Project Manager and complete required job documentation as needed * Act as customer liaison on site per project scope and directives – direct on-site change requests to Project Manager for confirmation and final direction * Communicate and coordinate with other trades on site * Perform client training as needed * Travel to various job sites required * Other duties assigned as needed Skills and Abilities * Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues * Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner * Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines * Basic computer knowledge * Knowledge of complex wiring configurations and/or signal flow for audio, video, control * Ability to lead site teams on large, complex projects * Minor control system programming changes and troubleshooting capabilities * Knowledge and use of specific test equipment for required applications * Knowledge and application of industry installation safety codes and standards. Education and/or Experience * Minimum of 6 - 8 years in audiovisual, electronics or related industry installation experience required * Formal education in Audio Visual, Electronics or related field preferred * CDL preferred * Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred * External Training: * OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course required * Valid and current AVIXA CTS-I General Certification required * Specific industry specific and manufacturer training / certifications to meet AVI-SPL skill/ability requirements. * Confirmed Project Site Lead Role experience * Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards * Ability to obtain formal approved clearances (Government or system specific) may be required.
