Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.

Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS or equivalent + 9 yrs related experience, or MS + 7 yrs related experience

Candidate will integrate within a deliverable based organization to provide consistent, high quality, on time, and on budget solutions to US Government customers. Candidate will be based out of Alexandria for lab operations, with significant travel to field sites during installations. Candidate will work within an established code base with an established GUI to produce customized solutions for systems. Candidate will be responsible for reviewing design packages and preparing baseline code files for installations. Candidate will be responsible for initial hardware configuration, loading, and testing within the lab. Candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, commissioning and providing QA for AV systems within the lab and in the field. Candidate will be responsible for control system code and audio DSP code. Candidate will be responsible for hardware configuration including implementing government STIGs on VTC hardware and implementing EDID plans on switching and distribution equipment. Candidate will be responsible for producing documentation for turnover packages including screenshots for manuals, final code versions, and IP tables. Candidate will be responsible for providing user and administrator trainings to end users upon completion of system implementations. Required Skills: * Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, military, and/or work experience * Minimum 2-5 years work experience in Audio Visual industry * AV Programming certifications – Extron preferred, AMX/Crestron accepted * Audio DSP certifications – Biamp Tesira preferred, BSS/ClearOne/QSC/Polycomm accepted * Ability to troubleshoot complex systems * Experience with networking and network topology * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite * Must pass an extensive government background check * Must pass a drug screening test * Must have a Secret Clearance * Position requires 25-75% travel * Demonstrate time management with attention to detail * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written * Communicate and interact with coworkers, customers, and vendors in a professional and timely manner.
