AV Field Engineer

Piper Companies is searching for an AV Field Engineer to work Hybrid in Washington, DC for a national commercial and federal systems integrator. The AV Field Engineer role involves configuring, deploying, and ensuring the proper functioning of AV systems, including troubleshooting.

Responsibilities of the AV Field Engineer include:

• Collaborate with the design team to ensure customer satisfaction

• Conducting quality assurance and commissioning systems on-site

• Provide walkthroughs with clients, provide training, and ensure project closure

• Additionally, the role requires up to 40% travel

Qualifications for the AV Field Engineer include:

• High school diploma and technical certification preferred

• 5 years of AV experience with proficiency in AV technologies

• Familiarity with industry software and platforms

• Able to troubleshoot networks and ability to interpret design drawings

• Familiarity with audio tuning and DSP programming

Compensation for the AV Field Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience) plus bonuses
