The Flight Controls and Autonomy team is currently seeking highly motivated technology pioneers with a desire to steer and lead the Autonomy industry. Team's technical areas of emphasis include Fly-By-Wire Flight Control Systems, Guidance/Navigation & Control (GNC), Flight Test, Autonomy, Aviation Robotics, Perception, AI and Motion Planning.
In this role, you will be responsible for bringing 3D cutting-edge collision detection algorithms. This is a multidisciplinary role and you will work closely with the motion planning and perception teams. The ideal collision detection software engineer is responsible for developing fast, real-time collision checks against terrain and dynamic obstacles.

B.S. in computer science, electrical, robotics engineering or related engineering field.
5+ Years of Experience
Experienced with collision detection.
Experience with 3D computational geometry algorithms.
Strong C /C++ programming background.
Familiarity with bounding volume hierarchies and other advanced spatial data structures (AABB, octrees, etc.).
