What to expect:

Create programs in SIDIS Pro to ensure the control unit initialization is followed, correct executed and documented. Follow by the current guidelines and internal regulations for UPS Program development.
Programming of interfaces to the operating equipment (roller bench, filling systems, etc.) which is controlled by the test system (SIDIS Pro/SIDIS prime).
Participate and organize UPS relevant reviews and release meetings.
Write test catalogs for the UPS Program to ensure the UPS Program fulfills all requirements.
Implementation of part number, hardware and software check of control units (Version control).
Support of the Software lifetime process (DL24). Implementation of new vehicle communication protocols (PDX files and service reference tables). Development of solutions for short-term resolution of failures and the initiation of long-term corrective actions to resolve failures.
Development of measures to maintain high vehicle direct run rate in production and optimize the cycle time of the program.
Analysis of program code in cases of failures and implement countermeasures to control of failures. Participation in working groups to represent the department and ensure buildability.
Coordinate the roll out of new UPS software versions and ensure no production downtime.
Create new work process in the related area as necessary.

What you bring along:

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent Education
Experience in vehicle production or functionality
Deep experience in C, C++, or Python
Experience with vehicle electronic networks/systems (i.e. CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
English fluent - verbal and written

Preferred

Master's in Software Engineering or a related field Experiences with C Sharp or SIDIS Pro
3+ years of relatable experience
German language skills
MQB37W commissioning experiences
Experience with vehicle functions and shared network communication

Responsible for writing, document and release UPS Programs to initialize vehicle control units in assembly, read measurement values, perform actuator and function tests. Send documentation relevant vehicle data to central vehicle database to store final build status.

Ensure compliance with program release guidelines, product and process requirements. Support Planning, Production and Quality with test and analysis to ensure customer satisfaction and productivity. Support transition from SIDIS pro to SIDIS prime.
