VIEW JOBS 12/5/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-05T00:00 Overview The Tool Install Engineering Coordinator (TIEC) is responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of design and design documents required for to complete field construction for production tool activities including: tool installations, de-installations, conversions, upgrades, fab support equipment, etc. Engineering Coordinators are expected to incorporate the IMFT core values by: * Demonstrating Integrity in their work by being truthful, verifying compliance with applicable code and regulatory requirements, and maintaining confidentiality. * Demonstrating Execution by providing engineering and design services that result in satisfying the needs of the end users and the project goals at the highest value to IMFT. * Demonstrating Commitment as the Engineering Coordinator responsible for the engineering and design services for their assigned projects * Demonstrating Teamwork by showing respect for and collaboration with fellow team members including Engineering & Design, Operations & Maintenance, Construction, Environmental Safety Health & Security, and Manufacturing Responsibilities: * Facilitate the coordination and communication required to produce timely, accurate and constructible design documents for the field execution of tool activities. * Create, coordinate, and communicate the tool activity design schedule. * Manage scope of each project at the design level * Lead a multi-discipline tool install design and engineering team that are responsible to: * Maintain a good working relationship with Facilities Engineers, Architect, Fab Layout Industrial Engineers, Project Coordinators, etc. * Ensure that the proper people are involved in review meetings * Coordinate with fab layout IE for placement of sub-fab equipment * Coordinate with tool owners/managers for tool install requirements * Coordinate with tool time team and engineers for service assignments * Design and draft drawings with AutoCAD that are associated with facilities systems and semiconductor tool installations industry standards * Provide professional quality design services that adhere to the IMFT-Lehi Engineering & CAD Standards and industry standard design practices * Organize and maintain electronic CAD files using Drawing File Manager (Adept) software * Execute Drawing As-built procedures to ensure that accurate as-built information is collected and updated on tool install packages * Coordinate with architectural and safety teams to ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements * Utilize the appropriate change management procedures (LMCR, change requests or other) on all projects to document and obtain approval for changes during a design * Provide construction support in the field to answer questions and work through field coordination conflicts Qualifications * Proven team leadership skills and experience * Proven networking skills with diverse teams and leadership * Bachelor's Degree preferably in design, engineering or equivalent applicable work experience * Proficiency in leading technically adept teams * Specialized experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or civil/structural/architectural disciplines * Proficiency with AutoCAD * Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel) * Familiarity with applicable building codes * Ability to solve problems with only general direction * Proven organizational skills * Ability to work on simple and complex projects with general instruction * Good customer service attitude * Effective communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to schedule, prioritize, and complete multiple task workloads * Good written and verbal communication skills All Team members must meet minimum criminal background standards as established by IM Flash and the Department of Homeland Security.
